Hi! I just weighed in this morning because I couldn’t make it to the meeting last night….I was out having fun playing Bunco!! Luckily Weight Watchers has a center close by so I stopped in there this morning after cheer practice and just weighed in. I was very nervous because I not only ate all of my daily points last week but I also ate all of my weekly points….stupid Cinnamon Crunch bagels from Panera!! But what’s a girl to do when they tell you that you earned 1/2 dozen bagels free….I couldn’t let that just go to waste. At any rate….much to my surprise I lost 3.4 pounds this week…..Yahoo!! Since that was my first week of official weigh-ins I am just going to count those pounds towards my total. The first week I just weighted in on my own scale and it reads a bit differently than theirs does……I think I like theirs better!!
My goal for last week was to walk 10,000 steps each day…..EPIC FAIL!!! Not only did I not make it to 10,000 each day, there were a few days when I forgot to put the darn pedometer on so I have no idea how many steps I walked….pretty sure not nearly enough though!! I guess I will keep the same goal for this week and hope that is goes better. I think I just need to put my pedometer in a different place so I won’t forget it in the morning. With school starting next week I am sure I will get plenty of steps in, it’s just a matter of tracking them.
A challenge with school starting next week is that there will be tons of temptations everywhere. One of my co-workers has the BEST mom and she bakes us all sorts of yummy breads each year for the first day of school…..there is no way I am going to pass up her lemon poppy seed bread….I am only human….moderation will be the key….and simply trying to not go into that room over and over to get more!!!
I am just about done with my back to school shopping list…hopefully I’ll be able to share that this weekend and I have another Mason Jar craft to share. #gottalovemasonjars
