My latest Stitch Fix arrived and I was a bit underwhelmed….it was sort of dreary this time. I will be sure to ask for more color in the next Fix. Here is what my stylist Sara sent this time…
Octavia: Clarence Dot Fringe Scarf $34
I was not a huge fan right out of the box, but once I saw it against other colors I really liked it.
Margaret M: Emer Jacquard Print High Wasted Cropped Pant XL $98
When I pulled these out of the box I didn’t think there was any chance they would fit and the price was way too high. Technically they don’t fit well, but much better than I thought. The print is something different for me that I thought was fun, but I knew they would not be flattering…..I was correct! These pants are not doing my hams (thighs) and back side any favors…Yikes!
Le Lis: Bari Woven Back Knit Top XL $58
I really wanted to like this top….I had even pinned it on my Stitch Fix Pinterest board. Sadly though, in person it just didn’t measure up to my expectations. I didn’t care for the color combination of the marled grey with the black and cream plaid. I almost had myself talked into it and then I put it on….the fit was not good….even the Hubs said it looked a bit weird…I believe he said it looked sort of like a maternity fit. I couldn’t get this sucker off fast enough after he said that. “Maternity” is not a look that most gals are looking to achieve outside of actually being pregnant!
RD Style: Vivianna Open-Draped Knit Cardigan $68
I liked this right out of the box, but it is very similar to a sweater I already have so I was trying to talk myself out of it. Then I tried it on and liked it even more. It is something I can wear with lots of different outfits from jeans to slacks and skirts….Do you see what I am doing here? I am talking myself into it as I am sitting here writing this post…..UGH!!!
Daniel Rainn: Bellaire Crew Neck Blouse XL $64
The cut and fit of this top were both just okay. I already another top that has a similar feel so keeping this one was never an option.
So what are your thoughts? Did I keep the right stuff? Have you tried Stitch Fix yet? If you are considering it, there is a link on my website to get you started.
Have a Great One All!
