Hi!  The first week of school is in the books as a good friend of mine always says.  It was probably the smoothest first week I have ever had.  I didn’t get to post as much as I would have liked, but I think I have a handle on the school stuff now so I am hoping to get more posted this week.

Today I am sharing Mason Jars again….I know….I have a problem.  There is just so much you can do with them though and they are so inexpensive.  This time I am sharing some that are in my guest bedroom.  I redecorated it over the summer in gray and dark blue and I needed something for on top of the dresser.  Here are my Pinsperations…

Are these not just gorgeous!!!???!!!  I knew when I saw them that I had to make some.  Once again a trip to Hobby Lobby was in order.  The Looking Glass paint is with all of the other spray paint, but it is a bit pricey.  Make sure you have your trusty 40% off coupon at the ready!!  I have the Hobby Lobby app on my phone so I am always prepared and it is so much faster than trying to look for it online.

I liked the look of the first 2 pictures the best so that was what I decided to do.  I am still thinking I might have to try the Mercury Glass look of the 3rd pic though.  I  might need a few of those for Christmas decorations….and maybe some gifts!!

Here is a pic of the paint.  It was $11.99 regularly (yikes!) but only $7.19 after the coupon. All I did was give each of the jars about 3 coats of paint with plenty of time in between to dry.  This can was more than enough for the 3 jars I did and will likely be enough to do several more.  Here is how mine turned out…..I really love them!

I just bought a big bunch of artificial hydrangeas at Hobby Lobby and cut them apart to fill the jars.  Super fast….super easy…and reasonably inexpensive.  Something pretty and fun to welcome my guests.

What are your thoughts on Mason Jars?  Is it just me or are they too fantastic!!??!!

Have a Great One All!

Patty  🙂
